RadioRadio is a medium for delivering live or recorded audio material off-air. In a learning context, radio could be used as a means for transmitting educational programming or as a stimulus for informal learning. |
Recorded telephone messagesRecorded telephone messages play back automatically when a telephone number is rung. Could be used in a learning context to provide access to any type of audio teaching material. With more sophisticated programming can also be used as a means for assessment, with pre-recorded questions answered by pressing keys on the telephone keypad. |
