Virus Protection

A virus is a code which can either lie dormant in a computer and be not particualry harmful, but it can can also cause computers to shut down, lose of data, and even make the computer need to be reformatted. To prevent this Virus Protection has been created. There are many different programs for Virus protection or Anti-virus software, some working better than others, but the aim of all the programs is to protect your computer from harmful and useless virus's.

A web page or webpage is a resource on the World Wide Web

WWW

The World Wide Web "www" is a global information space which people can read-from and write-to via a large number of different internet-connected devices.

WYSIWYG

WYSIWYG application is one that enables you to see on the display screen exactly what will appear when the document is printed. This differs, for example, from word processors that are incapable of displaying different fonts and graphics on the display screen even though the formatting codes have been inserted into the file. WYSIWYG is especially popular for desktop publishing.

XML

The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a W3C-recommended general-purpose markup language for creating special-purpose markup languages, capable of describing many different kinds of data. In other words: XML is a way of describing data and an XML file can contain the data too, as in a database.
